Island Scholarship Program (MRISP)
for the Miss RI & Miss RI
Outstanding Teen pageants, the
official preliminary to the Miss
America Pageants, the largest
provider of scholarships for
women in the world. Last year,
the Miss America Organization
and its state and local
organizations made available
over $45,000,000 in scholarships
to young women throughout the
country.
The Miss RI Scholarship
Program's mission is to offer
the young women of Rhode Island
an opportunity to further their
personal, professional and
education goals through monies
for scholarships, networking and
speaking opportunities at local
schools and organizations
throughout the state.
At this year's Miss America
pageant, Ashley received an
honorable mention for the
Quality of Life Award, the
Preliminary Lifestyle and
Fitness Award, the first ever
"Miss Photogenic Award"
presented at a Miss America
Pageant (which includes a
modeling contract with Patrick
Talent Agency and a photo spread
in Supermodels Unlimited
Magazine) and an article in Four
Points Magazine!
