RULES OF ELIGIBILITY
Miss Rhode Island:
You must be an unmarried female at least 17 years of age and no older than 24 years of age by December 31 of the year in which you intend to compete in the State Finals of the Miss RI Scholarship Program. You must also meet at least one of the following eligibility criteria:
- You have been a resident of Rhode Island for at least six (6) months preceding the date of the Stage Pageant
- You are presently a bona fide full time registered student attending classes at a college or university located in the State, and you have successfully completed one semester as a full time student (minimum 12 credit hours) at said college or university
- You have been employed full time (at least 35 hours per week) in the State for at least six (6) months preceding the date of the State Pageant.
Miss Rhode Island Outstanding Teen:
The teen program is open to all RI residents between the ages of 13 & 17, who are in 8th, 9th, 10th or 11th grade and are no more than juniors in high school.
